On-line PD Monitoring System for Switchgears

This system monitors partial discharge (PD) activities of switchgears (cabinets) through the HF sensors installed on the connector cables of the voltage indicators. With the application of advanced pulse-shape classification technology, the accuracy and precision of fault detection achieve 80% and above. Compared with traditional TEV and AE methods, this system has higher sensitivity, accuracy, and precision, and is more robust to interference.
